SSHS baseball game canceled

Austin Colbert

Steamboat Springs High School Sailors

— The Steamboat Springs High School baseball team was scheduled to play at Simla on Saturday but was forced to cancel the game, citing a lack of players.

Steamboat is missing a pair of athletes and doesn’t have enough remaining on the roster to field a full team.

The game might be rescheduled for early May, though nothing has been finalized.

Steamboat (2-8) is off until after spring break, when it plays Summit April 27, in Craig.
