Alexandra Mathisen: Thank you from North Routt Preschool
April 3, 2016
I would like to take a moment to write a letter of sincere thanks on behalf of the North Routt Preschool to the community for their support for our Easter fundraiser.
First, a huge thank you to Vista Verde Ranch for opening their doors and hosting our event. Without them, our event would not have been possible. They not only hosted the event but also provided staff to work the event, groomed the ski trails for everyone to use and cooked breakfast for over 250 people. Wow! What a treat to spend time at this amazing ranch tucked away in North Routt.
A big thank you to the Clark Store and Sysco for donating all the food, to North Routt Fire for being on site and answering endless questions and letting the kids tour the fire truck, to Classic Air Medical for trying to land your helicopter (it got called away for a medical emergency!), to everyone who donated an item for the raffle and to all of our volunteers.
And lastly, thank you to everyone who attended the event. We were amazed at how many people showed up — as some of you might have realized, we weren’t expecting such a big turnout. We’re sorry if you didn’t get any food. Next year we promise to have twice as much food and eggs to hunt.
