WinterWonderGrass 2018 schedule and festival lineup

Leftover Salmon performed at the 2016 WinterWonderGrass in Steamboat Springs and they return to the 2017 line-up, which was announced Thursday.

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — WinterWonderGrass sets the intention to get back to the roots of bluegrass with 25 bands performing on four stages durong three days.

Headliners include Greensky Bluegrass, Yonder Mountain String Band, Elephant Revival and Leftover Salmon. Other artists include Fruition, Travelin McCourys, Lil’ Smokies, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Jon Stickley Trio, Billy Strings, Trout Steak Revival and many more.

Below is a schedule of free shows and the festival line-up.

These shows are for WinterWonderGrass ticket holders only and most are held in festival tents at the Knoll Parking Lot.

Grass After Dark late night shows

These shows feature festival artists including Leftover Salmon, Fruition, Travelin’ McCourys, The Lil Smokies, Brad Parsons Band, Jon Stickley Trio, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades, Billy Strings, Old Salt Union and more.

Late night shows will be hosted at Schmiggity’s, the Chief Theater, Thunderhead Lodge, The Steamboat Grand, Bear River Bar and Grill and The Base Club at Steamboat Resort. All late night tickets will be separate tickets and 21 and older. Tickets start at $15 and vary in price by venue.

Grateful Dead Revue + WWG Family

Featuring musicians Tyler Grant, on lead guitar/vocals, Adrian Engfer, on bass/vocals, Kevin McHugh, on keyboards/vocals, Arthur Lee Land on rhythm guitar/vocals, Sean Macaulay on drums and Jake Wolf on drums.

Note: If the gondola is closed due to weather, the show will take place at The Bear River Bar and Grill.
