Top player hosting lacrosse clinic

Steamboat Springs — Jen Adams, one of the world’s top female lacrosse players, is holding a girls lacrosse clinic in Steamboat Springs.
Any girl in fifth through 12th grades interested in lacrosse or currently playing lacrosse is encouraged to attend the Oct. 15 clinic. The cost is $45 for elementary and middle school girls and $60 for high school girls. The registration fee in—-cludes a U.S. Lacrosse membership. Players should bring a white T-shirt, a mouthpiece and a girl’s lacrosse stick.
The clinic will be at Whistler Park, and there is no same day registration. The girls will be divided into fifth through eighth grade and high school groups. The first group will work with Adams from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The second group will work with Adams from 1 to 4 p.m.
Neill Redfern, Steamboat’s youth lacrosse director, must receive the completed registration forms by Wednesday. Anyone with questions can call Redfern at 870-6545.
