12:12 a.m. The Steamboat Springs Police Department assisted the Routt County Sheriff’s Office with a warrant attempt on a man charged with arson.
10:29 a.m. The police department and sheriff’s office were called into Steamboat Medical Group to arrest a man suspected of arson.
3:01 p.m. The police department ticketed cars parked in the no-parking zone next to the Soda Creek Elementary School.
3:17 p.m. Child abuse was reported to the police department. The police and social services are investigating the situation.
3:20 p.m. A resident complained about construction crews laying asphalt on road near the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Elk River Road. The caller said they were delaying traffic. The police found the construction crew to be in compliance.
4:05 p.m. A resident called asking the police to tow a vehicle with red tags in the 300 block of Ninth Street.
4:12 p.m. A 16-year-old juvenile was reported looking into cars in the City Market parking lot on Central Park Drive.
5:44 p.m. A resident complained about neighbors holding a regular band practice. The band was not playing when police arrived.
5:49 p.m. The Fort Morgan Police Department called the Steamboat police department asking them to look for a man who was a fugitive of justice and staying at the Nordic Lodge. Police arrested the man.
