Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a loud noise in the 100 block of Mountain Village Circle. The people who were making the noise were given a warning.

11:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone shoplifting at Walgreens. Police were working to find a suspect on Thursday.

12:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. A person called police reporting that they saw someone trip and fall on the sidewalk. The person was OK.

2:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had questions about a possible scam in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

6:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors arguing about something in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive.

10:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of rowdy people at a bar in the first block of Eighth Street downtown. Someone at the bar wanted police to do a walkthrough. Everything was fine when officers arrived.

12:10 p.m. Firefighters in Steamboat, Hayden and Oak Creek were called to a report of a wildfire near the Walton Peak trailhead on Rabbit Ears Pass. The quarter-acre fire was started by an abandoned campfire and was quickly put out.

11:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a robbery at a gas station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. Two men wearing bandanas and sunglasses allegedly entered the gas station and demanded money after one of the men brandished a knife. The men left with $140 from the cash register and a pack of Marlboro Red cigarettes. A short time later, officers pulled over a truck that was speeding through downtown Steamboat without headlights on. The three men in the truck, who told police they were headed back to Craig, were arrested on suspicion of aggravated robbery.
