Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:39 p.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of attempted fraud involving a nursing home resident in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

2:23 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell at the Howelsen Ice Arena.

4:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of Oak Street. It involved parents and a juvenile, and the situation was mediated.

5:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stereo speaker stolen in the 1900 block of Storm Meadows Drive.

6:10 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 600 block of Mountain Village Circle. The person was fine.
