Police, fire and ambulance calls

8 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious car at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street. A person thought the car might be the one that someone has been using to impersonate a police officer. It was not the car police were looking for.

11:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of shoplifting at a grocery store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A 19-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were given summonses to appear in court. It was suspected they stole energy drinks.

2:01 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 300 block of North Grant Avenue.

2:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who got an emergency message from a family member. It was unclear why the message was sent, and the family member was fine.

2:57 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem at Colorado Mountain College.

3:54 p.m. Officers were called to check on a suspicious woman in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The 29-year-old had just gotten out of jail, and she was put on a bus going to Craig.

4:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet on Yampa Street.

5:03 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 18500 block of U.S. Highway 40.

5:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a closed hotel in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. People were in one of the rooms. They were construction workers.

6:56 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a report of a suicide attempt.

7:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said her ex-boyfriend was neglecting her son. Police contacted the child, and he said he was fine.
