Police, fire and ambulance calls

5:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in a dumpster in the 2400 block of Whitehaven Court. It could not be located.

8:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient causing a disturbance in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. He left when police were called.

11:47 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a possible structure fire on Loggers Lane. There was a lot of smoke in the area. The smoke was coming from a chimney. A coffee company was roasting beans.

12:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a credit card found at Fifth and Oak streets.

12:37 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a small wildland fire in the 100 block of West First Street.

9:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud noise in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. A tenant was having a moving out party. Police were called there two more times during the night for loud noise, and a citation was not issued.

10:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive. Neighbors who had been drinking alcohol were arguing over dog issues.
