Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud music in the 900 block of Mountain Village Circle. A warning was issued.

2:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at the Colorado Mountain College parking lot. It was students doing mechanical work on a car, and everything was fine.

4:25 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman who called 911 in New Hampshire and was crying. The woman had a Steamboat phone number, and police checked her last known address. She no longer lived there.

12:02 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a controlled burn that got out of control in the 28200 block of Thorpe Mountain Drive. The fire was put out.

2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza. Landscapers were working in the area, and they found a cash drawer under some bushes. The drawer was stolen during a burglary of a nearby laundry business in August. A few hundred dollars was missing from the drawer.

4:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about large amounts of exhaust coming from a vehicle at 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue. It could not be located.

10:08 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a man with back pain at a gym in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:29 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man who was upset about a future wedding.
