Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Officers were called to a report of trespassing in the 700 block of North Grand Street. A woman woke up and discovered a drunken man sleeping on her couch. The woman did not want to press charges, and the man was given a warning.

8:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a landlord having ongoing issues with tenants in the 1100 block of Soda Ridge Way.

11:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man loitering at a convenience store in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.

12:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a found credit card at Fetcher Park.

12:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost driver’s license at Yampa and 10th Streets.

12:54 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man heard yelling profanities in the 3000 block of Village Drive.

1:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an attempted fraud involving a Western Union account in the first block of Anglers Drive.

2:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car blocking a private condominium entrance in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road. A resident was upset that people were driving through the property, so he parked his car there. Police tried to mediate the situation.

3:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost wallet downtown.

4:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at Howelsen Parkway and Fifth Street. A blow-up directional device owned by the city was stolen either July 3 or July 4. It was valued at $600.

5:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man passed out in front of the Routt County Sheriff's Office. He was taken to detox.

6:10 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 500 block of Seventh Street.

7:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Aspen Leaf Way and Walton Creek Road. People were heard yelling and screaming. They could not be found.

7:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two people fighting in a parking lot in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. They were gone when officers arrived.

7:47 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a fight in the 20700 block of U.S. Highway 40. An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of third-degree assault and for possession of alcohol.

9:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks at Lily Lane and Apple Drive. They could not be located.

9:39 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a possible structure fire in the 38600 block of Rollinghills Lane. There was no fire. Something left in the oven filled the house with smoke.

9:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving erratically at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street.

11:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an unconscious person at Chinook Lane and Willowbrook Court. A 27-year-old woman and another person were cycling in opposite directions without lights on and collided. The woman was not wearing a helmet and had serious injuries. She was flown to Denver and was in serious but stable condition Friday night.
