Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a transient man and told him to pick up his things that had been left at a business where the man had been sleeping.

10:34 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 1700 block of 13th Street.

noon Officers were called to a report of an abandoned bike at Yampa and Seventh streets.

4:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person texting and driving at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be located.

4:51 p.m. Officers were called to check on juveniles who were seen smoking something with a transient person. They were not doing anything illegal.

5:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought a cyclist was a traffic hazard on Lincoln Avenue west of downtown.

5:51 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an assault in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 16-year-old boy reportedly hit his brother-in-law. The boy was released to his parents.

6:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car discovered damaged in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

7:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a small white truck being driven with the lights on at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue.

9:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors fighting for the past hour in the 1300 block of Mountain Village Circle.

11:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party with about 15 people on a deck on Willett Heights Trail.
