Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:40 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle.

3:40 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.

8:27 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive.

8:56 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A mother was concerned about comments her child had written on Facebook.

1:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car damaged at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

11:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a movie theater in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. A drunken man was causing a scene because he wanted the midnight showing of “The Hobbit” to start early. The man was escorted out of the theater.
