Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a truck that was leaking diesel fuel on Lithia Springs Road. A fuel tank was punctured while something was being unloaded from the truck trailer, and about 150 gallons of fuel spilled. A hazmat team from Denver had to come and help clean up the fuel.

2:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman screaming in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court. Officers were unable to locate the source of the screaming.

4:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. Officer contacted a person in the vehicle, and everything was OK.

5:20 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man in a vehicle outside of a hotel in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man was reportedly intoxicated. The man’s girlfriend arrived and took the man back to where they were staying.

1:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person camping in a vehicle at Central Park Plaza. The person said their car broke down. They were referred to LiftUp of Routt County.

2:03 p.m. Officers were called to a check on the welfare of a man who threatened to harm himself at a gas station in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center to receive medical treatment.
