Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 1000 block of Uncochief Circle. No action was required.

3:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 1700 block of River Queen Lane. Officers did not contact anyone.



8:02 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue. A person reported an orange kayak was overturned in the Yampa River. Officers were unable to locate the kayak.

9:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a civil complaint in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. A person called to report that a woman who was invited to the house by the caller’s roommate was calling the person nasty names. A verbal warning was issued.



10:33 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a found North Carolina driver’s license and a Colorado Quest Card. Officers were unable to locate the owner of the driver’s license.

10:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a large pair of pruning shears found on the Yampa River Core Trail.

11:32 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a civil complaint at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. No action was required.

11:33 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to a report of a crash at mile marker 158 on U.S. Highway 40. No other information was available.

12:37 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a bear in the 21000 block of Colorado Highway 131.

2:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of lost property at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. No other information was available.

3:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 700 block of Oak Street. It appeared a building was hit by a car.

6:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. A person called to fire a complaint about his or her landlord.

7:26 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a one-car, noninjury crash at mile marker 142 on U.S. 40. A semitrailer lost its brakes and drove into the runaway truck ramp on Rabbit Ears Pass.

10:27 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of people setting off fireworks in the 40000 block of Riverbend Trail. They were unable to locate whoever was responsible.
