Police, fire and ambulance calls

4:12 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about people being noisy in the 300 block of Third Street. The people quieted down before officers arrived.

11:34 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of an iPhone that was stolen from the Strawberry Park Hot Springs.

2:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who found an Internet scam that was trying to get someone to purchase a vehicle in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who stole $165 worth of groceries from a store in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The man was issued a court summons for shoplifting.

3:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti on statues outside of the Sanctuary.

5:43 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a group of people shooting guns up on Buffalo Pass.

5:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who was having problems with an ATM machine in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

9:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident on Longthong Road. Someone in the area reported seeing a parachute come down somewhere near the Shadow Run condominiums. The person said the parachute was quite a ways off. It was dark, and officers could not find anything or anyone with a parachute.

9:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a verbal argument in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said the argument stemmed from a complaint about a dog.
