Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:27 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the first block of Logan Avenue. A man kept ringing a doorbell at a home until someone answered, and then he asked to use a phone. The man then walked away. Police were unable to locate him.

7:33 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a highly intoxicated man who took a taxi to Yampa Valley Medical Center. The man was eventually taken to detox.



12:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious man who was taking pictures of people at Art in the Park. Police contacted the man and determined everything was OK.

12:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who went into an acquaintances’ house in the first block of Short Street and dumped over a couple of plants.



1:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of Redwoods Drive. A person appeared to have entered the home while the homeowners were away, but nothing was taken. Police were still investigating the report Monday.

3:32 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of damage at the Routt County Rifle Range. No other information was available.

4:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was receiving unwanted phone calls from a former roommate in the 900 block of Pine Street.

5:09 p.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers, Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue paramedics were called to a report of a rollover crash on Routt County Road 14. The driver was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center with injuries.

7:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a door slammed loudly in the 500 block of Eaglepointe Court. Police are investigating the incident as possible domestic violence.

9:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disagreement between a father and son in the 2700 block of Abbey Road. Officers mediated the argument.

10:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had their wallet stolen from the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The person called back shortly after and said the wallet had actually been misplaced and was found.
