Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken driver at Routt County Road 14 and Mount Werner Road. The driver had crashed his or her vehicle into a ditch and called a tow truck driver. The tow truck driver told police the driver appeared to be intoxicated. The driver of the crashed vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

2:12 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was taken to detox.

5:55 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Yampa Valley Medical Center. An intoxicated person was causing a disturbance, and police assisted with security.

6:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person trying to get into a beer distribution center in the 1100 block of 13th Street. Nobody was there, and all the doors were secure when officers arrived.

6:53 a.m. Officers were called to a report of four vehicles that had slashed tires in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Police still were investigating the damage Monday.

8:08 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1300 block of Mountain Village Circle. A man staying at a residence started throwing things around when he was asked to leave by another person at the residence. Police arrived and mediated the situation.

6:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person hanging out in the 1900 block of Bridge Lane. Police still were investigating the report Monday.

7:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of several roommates fighting in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza. One person was arrested on suspicion of second degree assault and criminal mischief.

8:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of several skis that were stolen from the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.

8:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a hotel in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A man saw another person with his ex-girlfriend, and a disturbance ensued. The parties were separated, and one person was taken to detox.
