Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a fight in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine. Officers stayed around until the crowd dispersed.

1:50 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of harassment in the 32000 block of Routt County Road 20.

3:37 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a man who reportedly was breaking furniture in his home in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police discovered it was a verbal dispute between roommates, and everything was OK.

4:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police found the vehicle, but it was parked and unoccupied.

4:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver near the intersection of Walton Creek Road and U.S. Highway 40. Police pulled over the driver and determined they were OK to drive.

6:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man smoking marijuana at a bus stop in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Police issued the man a ticket for consuming marijuana in public.

7 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a someone who stole a cellphone and a pair of gloves from a vehicle that was unlocked in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

9:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle that was stolen from the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. The vehicle was not stolen. It was repossessed.

11:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said two intoxicated men were sitting in a truck and got into an argument. The driver of the truck said his passenger stole a $3,000 gold chain from him and threatened to kill him before running away. The victim described the thief as an acquaintance of his. Police still were investigating the reported theft Monday.
