12:06 a.m. A restraining order violation was reported in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was unfounded.

8:01 a.m. A bike theft was reported in the 1300 block of Indian Trails. It was stolen within the past two weeks.

8:35 a.m. Parents in Kansas City, Mo., said their son was missing and he could be staying with his older brother who lives in Steamboat. The Steamboat Springs Police Department investigated and the son was not with the older brother.

8:35 a.m. Seven large trout were found on a picnic table at a park on the corner of Fifth Street and Yampa Avenue. It is believed the trout were not taken from the Yampa River, but from a private pond. The incident is under investigation.

9:06 a.m. Graffiti was reported at the Thunderhead Lodge and around the Torian Plum Plaza. The graffiti is similar to the one found near the Mount Werner Road underpass. The graffiti is an African symbol, made of poster board and glued onto concrete.

9:38 a.m. An unoccupied tow truck rolled back into a white Toyota Forerunner, which also was unoccupied. The accident occurred in the 1300 block of 13th Street.

10:21 a.m. An officer was requested in the 700 block of Oak Street for a family dispute.

11:42 a.m. A bad check was reported in the 2300 block of Val D’ Isere Circle.

9:24 p.m. A welfare check was requested for two intoxicated people in Dream Island. The reporting party said a man and woman were intoxicated and the man was attempting to carry the woman. The two were gone when police arrived.

10:30 p.m. A landlord of an apartment building that caught on fire in Oak Creek said he believed the tenant, who was suspected of causing the fire, called to ask about receiving his damage deposit back.
