Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of loud music in the first block of Hillside Drive. Nobody was in the area when officers arrived.

3:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person who refused to leave a bar in the 700 block of Yampa Street.

7:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a vehicle blocking the entrance to a lot in the 300 block of Anglers Drive. The vehicle was gone when officers arrived.

9:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog barking excessively in the 1800 block of Hunters Drive.

9:19 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who drove through another person's flower bed. The person was contacted and their dispute was civilly resolved.

11:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of someone illegally riding a moped down the Core Trail. The person was not located.

1:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a tow truck driving dangerously near Hilltop Parkway and Lincoln Avenue. The truck was not located.

4:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a neighborly dispute in the 1800 block of Hunters Drive.

4:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog left in a vehicle at Sixth Street and Oak Street. The dog's owner returned as officers arrived.

6:37 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog left in a vehicle near Eighth Street and Oak Street. Officers determined the dog was not in distress.

6:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a motorcycle crash near Mount Werner Road and Lincoln Avenue. An ambulance was called but nobody was transported to a hospital.

6:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone stealing $40 in gas from a convenience store in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

8:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the trash near a hotel in the 3200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

9:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in the 800 block of Yahmonite Street. Officers didn't find anyone upon arriving.

9:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog trying to escape out of a second story window in the first block of Butcherknife Alley. The owner was not home and officers talked to someone on the scene.

9:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit and run accident in the 2800 block of Elk River Road. The vehicle fled north on Highway 129 and officers believe they know who is at fault and will investigate further.

9:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a dumpster in the 2900 block of Chinook Lane.

9:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an RV parked at a gas station in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. The occupants refused to leave the parking lot when asked by gas station attendants.

10:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a one vehicle crash near Tamarack Drive and Hilltop Parkway. The vehicle went off the road and the driver received minor injuries.
