12:12 a.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive.

12:59 a.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Construction equipment was left with its lights on. The equipment’s operator turned the lights off.

1:56 a.m. Police assisted an intoxicated person at 11th Street and Lincoln Avenue. A taxi was called for the person.



3:38 a.m. A person in the 3000 block of Village Drive reported an earlier assault that allegedly occurred at a downtown Steamboat Springs bar.

5:12 a.m. Property was found in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.



7:18 a.m. Trespassing was reported in the 44000 block of Routt County Road 46B. The reporting party believed two hunters who shot an elk had done so illegally. They had not.

8:38 a.m. An officer was requested to the 800 block of Yampa Street for a civil complaint. There was a disagreement regarding payment for vehicle work. The dispute was mediated.

9:17 a.m. Cows were reported on C.R. 129 near Clark. The cows’ owner removed them from the road.

10:18 a.m. A stray dog was reported in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. The dog reportedly was running in an intersection. Officers were unable to catch the dog when it ran down the Yampa River Core Trail.

10:39 a.m. A disturbance was reported in the 2200 block of County Shop Road. There was an argument about bail bond money. The dispute was mediated.

11 a.m. The Routt County Sheriff’s Office provided traffic control for ranchers moving their cattle across C.R. 129.

Noon. A juvenile situation was reported in Steamboat Springs.

1:08 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive.

2:18 p.m. A wildfire was reported on Emerald Mountain. Four trees reportedly were burning beneath a power line. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue extinguished the fire.

2:26 p.m. Property was found on Blackmere Drive.

2:26 p.m. Property was reported lost in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

2:34 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive. A report was taken.

4:05 p.m. Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of Yampa Street. Someone reportedly spray-painted the side of an electrical box.

4:55 p.m. A woman was reported shoplifting in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. An arrest was made.

7:47 p.m. A structure fire was reported in the 30500 block of Ormega Way in Stagecoach. The fire severely damaged a home. There were no injuries.

9 p.m. A suicide attempt was reported in Steamboat Springs.

10:35 p.m. A person complained of noise in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. A verbal warning was issued.

11:06 p.m. Trespassing was reported in progress at B & K Distributing. The alleged trespassers were gone on the arrival of police. Nothing was missing.

11:50 p.m. A traffic stop was made at AprÃs Ski Way and Mount Werner Circle. An arrest was made.
