1:20 p.m. A Steamboat Springs Police Department officer said a woman in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue reportedly was “insulted” by a bartender who “became rude to her” after she dropped a glass.

2 a.m. A man was taken to detox at the Routt County Jail. The man allegedly punched a hole in a wall and was threatening a woman who was locked in a bathroom with two children.

6:57 a.m. A dead animal was in the middle of Lincoln Avenue near Anglers Drive.

7:32 a.m. A bear was spotted on Pine Grove Road. The bear was gone when officers arrived.

8:23 a.m. A woman’s car reportedly was broken into on Spruce Street. Nothing was missing from the woman’s car.

8:52 a.m. A man’s car reportedly was broken into on Spruce Street. Nothing was missing.

9:26 a.m. A bathroom door was damaged at Howelsen Hill. A report was taken.

1:17 p.m. A window was broken out of a lizard-style art car in the 1000 block of 13th Street.

2:31 p.m. A Subaru reportedly passed another driver on a double yellow line on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 147. The car was gone when officers arrived.

2:37 p.m. An 11-year-old girl was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center from the 1800 block of Central Park Drive because she was suffering from a seizure.

2:58 p.m. A man reported finding a couch on the side of the road in the 800 block of Weiss Drive.

3:18 p.m. A loose dog was put back in its yard on Whistler Road.

3:49 p.m. A New Mexico woman reportedly lost control of her cow trailer on Routt County Road 6 south of Yampa and rolled the trailer onto its side. Three cows died in the accident. The woman was not injured but was cited for careless driving, not having a commercial driver’s license, and failing to comply with Department of Public Safety rules and regulations governing safety, standards and specifications.

4:26 p.m. A 46-year-old Steamboat Springs man suffered minor injuries after he wrecked his motorcycle on C.R. 33 north of Milner. The man was not cited.

5:22 p.m. Police said a group of teens reportedly was “blowing off” dry ice bombs in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A report was taken.

5:39 p.m. A loose dog was taken to the shelter.

7:20 p.m. Someone in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive reportedly was honking a car horn for 15 minutes and disturbing people at a restaurant.

7:40 p.m. A Colorado Department of Transportation employee was struck by another driver on Colorado 131 south of Yampa after the man had stopped to avoid hitting several cows that had gotten loose from their pen and were standing on the highway. The cows were the same cows that were involved in an accident listed above. No injuries were reported.

8:47 p.m. A woman reported a possible fraud in the 1300 block of Hilltop Parkway.

10:03 p.m. A 20-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of first-degree burglary, third-degree assault, criminal mischief and resisting arrest for reportedly breaking into an ex-roommate’s home and fighting with him.
