Police, fire and ambulance calls

9:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of smoke coming from an apartment in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. Somebody left food on a stove, and it was starting to burn when responders arrived.

9:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a complaint about a dog running at large in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.

11:59 a.m. Officers and Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue. A Toyota pickup was struck by another pickup when it attempted to cross U.S. Highway 40. One truck slammed into a pole, while the other took out a bench. The driver of the pickup that was struck was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

12:28 p.m. Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a car crash on Rabbit Ears Pass.

1:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an ID card that was found at a marijuana business off of U.S. Highway 40.

1:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone who had a flat tire on Lincoln Avenue downtown. Police said the flat tire looked like it was intentionally caused by someone.

5:03 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dog that bit another dog in the 2600 block of Copper Ridge Circle.

7:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance between a father and son in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.

11:10 p.m. Officers were called to a complaint about a vehicle driving with its hazard lights on and swerving near the intersection of Colorado Highway 131 and U.S. Highway 40. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
