Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak in the 100 block of Ninth Street.

8:52 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an unlocked car that had been broken into at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Tools had been taken.



10:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash at 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

12:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a business in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza. An employee was concerned about a young boy coming into the store and thought the boy should be in school. The boy was given a ride home.



1:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud in the 900 block of Longview Circle. A person reported money was missing from an investment account.

3:35 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of smoke in the 23400 block of Routt County Road 56.

4:05 p.m. Officers were called to help with a family issue in the 2600 block of Longthong Road.

4:22 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical issue in the 39900 block of C.R. 80.

4:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a person who was bitten by an animal in the 23600 block of Sagebrush Circle near Oak Creek.

4:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 900 block of Weiss Drive. Two juveniles were seen walking with a 20-foot piece of pipe.

4:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who wanted to speak with an officer about a roommate dispute in the 900 block of Merritt Street.

6:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to make a complaint about a bicyclist at Yampa and 11th streets.

7:31 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash near mile marker 111 on U.S. Highway 40.

10:47 p.m. Officers stopped a car at Lincoln Avenue and Shield Drive and arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of DUI and DUI per se.

10:54 p.m. Officers were called to help with a family dispute in the 2600 block of Longthong Road.
