Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:40 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 400 block of Eaglepointe Court.

4:17 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain near mile marker one on Colo. Highway 131.

6:34 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to a report of a one-vehicle car crash on Routt County Road 44. A vehicle left the roadway and crashed into an irrigation ditch. The man who was driving was taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.

11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 300 block of Cherry Drive. The person was having a medical issue.

11:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a parking complaint at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

10:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was concerned about unsecured trash because there was a bear in the area in the 300 block of Third Street.

11:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a hotel in the 1000 block of Walton Creek Road. A guest received a call from someone wanting financial information.
