Police, fire and ambulance calls

8:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of someone going through an unlocked car in the 500 block of Pine Street. Nothing appeared to be missing.

10:06 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a business in the 2800 block of Riverside Plaza. An employee resigned and disabled the camera system.

10:31 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost skis that were on the top of a car.

11:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of vandalism at Soda Creek Elementary School.

11:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue who was receiving unwanted collect calls from a woman in jail.

1:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1200 block of Zephyr Trail. A person received a phone call from someone who said the person's grandson was in jail, and the person needed to wire money.

10:30 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person in emotional distress in the 300 block of West Lincoln Avenue.

11:53 p.m. Officers contacted a driver who drove on the Nordic trails at Howelsen Hill. The driver was given a citation.
