Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Howelsen Parkway. A moped was found in a portable toilet.



12:57 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the first block of Cypress Court. Someone reported a person screaming for help. Everything was fine.

2:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 1300 block of Manitou Avenue.



3:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 2900 block of West Acres. The party was warned.

8 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a wallet found at Haymaker Golf Course. It was returned to its owner.

10:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a lost iPhone 4.

1:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of lost property in the 500 block of Grand Street. A wallet was recovered but has not yet been returned to its owner.

2:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 1200 block of Athens Plaza. A group at a pool was warned.

3:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 1100 block of Mountain Village Circle. A person reported being harassed on Facebook. It is being investigated.

4:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of found property at mile marker 56 on U.S. Highway 40.

4:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a one-car, noninjury accident at the Stockbridge Transit Center. A Greyhound bus struck a stoplight.

4:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 1200 block of Anglers Drive. A group was advised to turn down its music.

7:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 500 block of Sandhill Circle. A group was advised to turn down its music.

8:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 100 block of Trafalgar Drive. No other information was available.

8:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 700 block of Yampa Street. A canoe was seen floating upside down in the Yampa River. Its owner was found by Bud Werner Memorial Library. Everything was fine.

8:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of threats in the 1400 block of Mark Twain Lane. A person reported receiving threats from a former employee via email.

8:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 500 block of Oak Street. Everything was fine.

11:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. A bear was in the underground parking garage of The Steamboat Grand. When officers attempted to herd it out, the bear would hide behind cars and did not want to leave the area.
