Steamboat Springs — Monday, June 16
8:57 a.m. A horse and donkey were reported loose on the road near mile marker 51 on Colorado Highway 131, just south of Oak Creek. The animals were back in their pasture when Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived.
9:01 a.m. Two dogs at large were reported in the 18800 block of Colo. 131 in Yampa. One of the animals was transported to the shelter; the other dog got away.
9:29 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Everything was fine.
10:34 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 42800 block of Routt County Road 44, where loud music was playing. Sheriff’s Office deputies gave a warning.
10:44 a.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted a motorist east of Hayden on U.S. Highway 40.

12:33 p.m. An animal complaint was received from the 29700 block of Rifle Run in Stagecoach, where two off-leash dogs attacked another animal. Sheriff’s Office deputies took a report.

5:29 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man was arrested during a traffic stop in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of driving under revocation, no proof of insurance, violating bail bond conditions, failure to signal and possession of an open container.
5:58 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 1800 block of Elk River Plaza. Everything was fine.
6:33 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 1400 block of Eagle Glen Drive. Everything was fine.
7:18 p.m. A Steamboat Springs man was arrested on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop at Walton Creek Road and Eagle Ridge Drive.
8:07 p.m. A Denver man was arrested on suspicion of driving under revocation and speeding during a traffic stop near mile marker 142 on U.S. Highway 40.
8:43 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Everything was fine.
9:05 p.m. A fire was reported at the Milner Landfill, in the 20600 block of C.R. 205. The fire was contained by landfill employees early Tuesday morning.
10:08 p.m. Threats were reported in the 900 block of Mountain Village Circle, where a tenant was threatening his apartment manager because he wanted air conditioning.
10:15 p.m. A disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Amethyst Drive, where intoxicated family members got into a verbal argument. One woman was taken to detox.
