3:45 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 2700 block of Whitewater Lane. The building was locked, and everything was fine.

7:08 a.m. The Colorado Division of Wildlife was called to a report of a bear in the 2100 block of Mount Werner Circle.

7:44 a.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary at a law office in the first block of Fifth Street. Detective Dave Kleiber said the office was trashed, files were thrown around and some cash might have been taken. The person apparently broke in through a window. Detectives are investigating.

8:39 a.m. Police were called to a report of a corgi loose at Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive. The dog was gone when officers arrived.

8:41 a.m. Police were called to a report of theft from a jewelry store near Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue where a person reportedly did not pay for a piece of jewelry. Officers determined it was a civil matter and advised the people to handle the issue in court.

9:10 a.m. Police were called to a report of a Labrador loose in the 400 block of Cherry Drive. Animal control officers took the dog to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

10:47 a.m. DOW officers were called to a report of a bear in the 2400 block of Apr├Ęs Ski Way.

11:14 a.m. Police were called to a report of two portable toilets damaged near the new skatepark on Lagoon Court.

11:18 a.m. Police were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash with damage to a truck in the parking lot at Central Park Plaza.

12:03 p.m. Police were called to a report of a Colorado Department of Transportation truck parked in a no-parking zone at Eighth Street and Lincoln Avenue. Officers determined the truck wasn't a problem and asked the construction crews to put up more signs about parking.

12:23 p.m. Police were called to a report of a noninjury crash between a dump truck and a car at Lincoln Avenue and Third Street.

12:32 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies and DOW officers were called to a report of a bear cub in a tree in the 200 block of Anglers Drive. The bear got down, ran away and did not threaten anyone.

2:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of an intrusion alarm in the 800 block of Broad Street. Everything was fine.

3:26 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were asked to check on a person in the 400 block of East Washington Avenue in Hayden.

4:38 p.m. DOW officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1100 block of Anglers Drive.

8:26 p.m. Police arrested a person after a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue and Mount Werner Road.

9:50 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request to check on a person in the 1200 block of Sparta Plaza. Medical crews took a woman to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

10:09 p.m. Police were called to a report of a fawn unable to cross a guardrail on Burgess Creek Road.

10:25 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of horses on the roadway on River Road.

10:25 p.m. Police were called to a report of an argument on Tamarack Drive.
