1:44 a.m. Steamboat police responded to an intrusion alarm in the 2600 block of South Copper Frontage Road. Officers determined it was a false alarm.

3:14 a.m. A suspicious person was reported at the Westland Mobile Home Park on Yampa Street. The person was found to be taking residence in a tree house and was issued a verbal warning.



8:13 a.m. A drunken driver was reported on Anglers Drive, but the suspect was not found.

8:26 a.m. A two-vehicle wreck was reported at Copper Ridge and Elk River Roads. One driver was cited for failing to yield while making a left turn.



8:54 a.m. A hit and run was reported.

9:16 a.m. A stray dog was reported in the 300 block of Little Moon Trail, but was gone when officers arrived.

9:51 a.m. A dead cat was found in the road in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive in Steamboat.

11:24 a.m. A man was arrested after a two-vehicle wreck in the 900 block of Weiss Drive in Steamboat when it was determined a warrant was out for his arrest in Weld County.

11:44 a.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported at Village Drive and Apres Ski Way.

1:18 p.m. A man was arrested after a domestic violence incident in Steamboat.

4:48 p.m. A woman called to report damage to the side of her vehicle after a construction sign in the roadway struck her car.

5:27 p.m. Sheriff deputies responded to an accident at U.S. Highway 40 and Colorado Highway 131. No injuries were reported.

5:45 p.m. A man was arrested for DUI after a single-car wreck on Amethyst Drive when he flipped his vehicle. The man sustained minor injuries.

7:50 p.m. A two-vehicle accident with no injuries was reported at Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue.

8:00 p.m. A Safeway employee called to report his vehicle had been struck by another vehicle sometime during the day. The vehicle had minor damage.

8:12 p.m. A woman came to the police department to report someone had stolen her cell phone and credit cards.

11:36 p.m. A noise complaint was issued on Woodbridge Court in Steamboat for loud music. A verbal warning was issued.

11:43 p.m. Sheriff deputies responded to false alarm on County Road 51 in Hayden.
