9:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a theft in the 500 block of Oak Street, where a church reported several figures from a Nativity scene stolen. The figures were valued at several hundred dollars.

10:11 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a car in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane.



10:22 a.m. Police were called to a report of a trespass at Steamboat Springs High School in the first block of East Maple Street. Officers escorted a person off the property.

11:28 a.m. Police were called to a complaint about a semi-truck stuck on the median at the roundabout at Mount Werner Circle and Après Ski Way.



12:38 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in Hayden. No more information was available.

12:41 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers and ski patrollers were called to a report of skiers out of bounds near Steamboat Ski Area.

12:45 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a report of a fire alarm in the 2800 block of Eagleridge Drive. Everything was fine.

12:47 p.m. Oak Creek Police Department officers were called to a report of a juvenile situation in Oak Creek.

1 p.m. Police investigated a person who tried to buy a gun but was denied in the 100 block of Ninth Street.

1:32 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to Steamboat Ski Area for a request for an ambulance. Medical crews took a 28-year-old woman who was in a ski accident to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

2:24 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of vandalism in the 28000 block of Routt County Road 209, near Clark, where somebody reportedly broke out light bulbs in a fixture.

2:56 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about an aggressive dog in the 3100 block of Après Ski Way. The case was referred to animal control officers.

4:15 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and police were called to a request for an ambulance in Steamboat, where a 3-year-old boy reportedly got into a bottle of aspirin and possibly ate several pills. The boy did not appear to be ill, and medical crews took him to YVMC.

4:57 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a report of a fire alarm in the 1900 block of Rockies Way. Everything was fine.

6:05 p.m. Police were called to a report of an airplane that had not finalized its flight plan into Steamboat Springs Airport and was 30 minutes late. Police contacted the pilot, who had forgotten to finalize the plan, and everything was fine.

6:28 p.m. Deputies received a report of a person violating a restraining order. They arrested a 46-year-old Coalmont man.

7:16 p.m. Police were called to a report of an abandoned car at U.S. Highway 40 and Dream Island Plaza. The car was blocking traffic, and officers had it towed.

10:07 p.m. Police were called to a report of an abandoned car at Mid Valley Drive and Lincoln Avenue.

10:20 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane, where a person was reportedly shining a bright green light onto passing cars. Officers gave the people a warning.

10:32 p.m. Police were contacted by a person at Ski Trail Lane and Après Ski Way. No more information was available.

10:36 p.m. Hayden police were called to a report of harassment in Hayden.

11:17 p.m. Hayden police were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

11:27 p.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 2700 block of Village Drive, where security officers could not get a party to quiet down.

11:50 p.m. Police were called to a report of a drunken person at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. No more information was available.
