Steamboat Springs — Monday, Jan. 25
1 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested a 31-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of driving under the influence, DUI per se, speeding, failure to signal and disregarding a stop sign after a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza.
6:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a complaint about a dog loose in the 5000 block of Routt County Road 78, near Hayden. The dog had no collar, and animal control officers took it to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
8:31 a.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 600 block of Yampa Street. A worker accidentally set off the alarm, and everything was fine.
8:42 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at South Lincoln Avenue and Anglers Drive.
9:06 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and police were called to a request for an ambulance in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue, where a man on a Steamboat Springs Transit bus reportedly suffered symptoms similar to a seizure. Medical crews took the man to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

10:38 a.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue where a person reported receiving what could be a scam in the mail.

2:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of a trespass in the 300 block of Pine Street where a woman reported that someone entered her car and smoked a cigarette. The woman reportedly knew the suspect, and nothing was missing from the car.
4:09 p.m. Police were called to a report of attempted fraud in the 600 block of Retreat Place. A man reported that someone tried to use his account number to buy more than $1,800 worth of goods. The company notified the man, and he did not lose any money.
4:30 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of three horses loose in the 50000 block of Moon Hill Drive, north of Steamboat. Deputies could not find the owner of the horses.
5:41 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of theft in the 31000 block of County Road. 14B. No more information was available.
6:27 p.m. Police were called to a report of an assault among family members in Steamboat. There were no injuries reported.
10:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of a burglary alarm in the 3000 block of Trails Edge. Officers found an open door and searched the house, but everything was fine.
11:25 p.m. Police were called to a report of threatening voicemails in Steamboat.
11:28 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders and deputies were called to a request for an ambulance near Clark, where a 56-year-old man was reportedly not feeling well. Medical crews took the man to YVMC.
