12:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue, where a person reported that someone was inside one of the kiosk booths and that it might be a burglary. Officers talked to the person in the booth and determined that it was the owner. Everything was fine.

12:29 a.m. Police arrested a 23-year-old Steamboat Springs man after a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue and Old Fish Creek Falls Road. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, no proof of insurance, failure to register, failure to signal and failure to obtain a Colorado driver's license.

1:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders and police were called to a report of a carbon monoxide or gas alarm in the 2000 block of Ski Time Square Drive. The building was evacuated, but firefighters found no elevated levels of gas or carbon monoxide.

9:47 a.m. Steamboat Mental Health requested that police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue check on a possibly intoxicated woman in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive. Medical crews took the woman, who is in her 60s, to Yampa Valley Medical Center.

11:18 a.m. Police were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue, where a car and a Steamboat Springs Transit bus reportedly clipped mirrors. The car drove off, and there was no damage to the bus.

11:28 a.m. Police were called to a report of three dogs loose near Spruce and Grand streets. Animal control officers caught two of the dogs. One was returned to its owner, and the other was taken to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter when its owner could not be found.

12:53 p.m. Deputies arrested a 47-year-old Steamboat man on a warrant for failure to appear in the 32000 block of McKinnis Creek Road, south of Steamboat.

2:05 p.m. Police were called to a report of a 16-year-old boy who had not returned home. Officers spoke with the boy at Steamboat Springs High School and did not file a runaway report.

5 p.m. Police were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 200 block of Caribou Lane, where a woman reported that someone shot her dog with a paintball gun. The dog was not injured.

6:11 p.m. Police were called to Colorado Mountain College's Alpine Campus where staff reported that a student was using drugs. Officers arrested a 19-year-old Steamboat man on suspicion of possession of cocaine and prescription medications, distribution of drugs and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana.

7:02 p.m. Deputies arrested a 28-year-old Steamboat man on a warrant for failure to appear.

9:23 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers and deputies were called to a report of people yelling in Hayden. Hayden police arrested a 37-year-old Hayden woman on a warrant for being a fugitive of justice and on suspicion of third-degree assault.
