Midnight. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were dispatched to a burglary alarm at a business in the 600 block of Yampa Street. Officers found an open door and were able to contact an employee to lock it.

12:29 a.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a request for extra patrol in the 10000 block of Colorado Highway 131 in Toponas.

12:38 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to assist a highly intoxicated man who passed out on a bus at Après Ski Way and Ski Trail Lane. Officers determined the man was fine, and they gave him a courtesy ride home.

12:59 a.m. Deputies were called to a request for extra patrol in the 25500 block of Routt County Road 14.

1:17 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Fish Creek Falls.

8:12 a.m. Division of Wildlife officers were dispatched to a wildlife call in the 1500 block of Curve Plaza.

9:19 a.m. Police were called to an animal complaint in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A dog was left in the back of a truck while its owner was eating breakfast. Steamboat Springs Animal Control officers made contact with the owner.

10:03 a.m. Police were called to a complaint that a semitrailer was stuck at Mount Werner Circle and Après Ski Way.

10:20 a.m. Deputies were called to a report that a car drove across the ice rink at Steamboat Drive and Haven Place.

11:05 a.m. Police were called to an animal complaint in the 2600 block of Alpenglow Way. Police couldn't find the animal.

11:41 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a report of a two-vehicle, noninjury car crash at Hilltop Parkway and U.S. Highway 40.

12:20 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of theft in the 11000 block of C.R. 51A. A passenger from a plane that originated in Hayden and went to Houston reported that jewelry had been stolen from some luggage. The incident is being investigated.

12:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of a dog loose at Riverside Drive and U.S. 40. The dog was gone when police arrived.

1:02 p.m. Police were called to a complaint that two semis were impeding traffic at Mount Werner Circle and Eagleridge Drive. They moved.

1:38 p.m. Police were called to assist a motorist who slid off the road and was stuck in a snow bank at Anglers Drive and U.S. 40. A tow company removed the car, which wasn't damaged.

1:52 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was dispatched to a fire alarm in the 800 block of Steamboat Boulevard.

2:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft in the 900 block of Central Park Drive. No other information was available. Officers still are investigating.

3:42 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-vehicle, noninjury car crash in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue.

3:47 p.m. Police were called to a report of a two-vehicle, noninjury car crash at Mount Werner Road and Steamboat Boulevard.

4:22 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a vehicle parked on private property in the 31000 block of Sweetwater Drive.

4:51 p.m. Police were called to a report of theft of cash in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.

5:31 p.m. Police were called to a report of a cold hit-and-run that occurred earlier in the afternoon at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.

6:07 p.m. Police were called to assist the Routt County Department of Human Services with a family investigation in Steamboat.

8:09 p.m. Hayden police were called to a report of assault in Hayden.

8:24 p.m. Deputies were called to assist a motorist at mile marker 13 on C.R. 36.

9:13 p.m. Deputies were called to a request for extra patrol in the 26700 block of Willow Gulch Road. A resident thought someone broke into his home, but the house was secure.
