Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:48 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear getting into trash in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. It left the area

3:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that got into a bear-resistant trash container in the 500 block of Gilpin Street.

5:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a semi rollover near mike marker 141 on U.S. Highway 40 on Rabbit Ears Pass. The driver was not injured and was ticketed for careless driving. It was suspected he was driving too fast around a curve.

8:49 a.m. Officers were called to a report of threats in the first block of Cedar Court. It involved a roommate dispute.

1:41 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 100 block of Hillside Drive.

2 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a mountain bike found at Steamboat Springs High School.

2 p.m. Officers were called to a report of possible check fraud in Steamboat.

3:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car swerving and tailgating at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza.

6:55 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing near mile marker 53 on Colorado Highway 131.

8:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of teenagers hanging out of van doors in the 2800 block of Alpenglow Way. They could not be located.

8:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in the first block of East Logan Avenue.

8:49 p.m. Officers were called to help a person in the 100 block of Spruce Street who left their medication at a business that had since closed. Police helped the person get the medication back.

10:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 1300 block of Mountain Village Circle. A citation was issued.
