Police, fire and ambulance calls

7:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a road rage incident at JD Hays Way and South Lincoln Avenue. A driver was challenging another driver to fight. The driver could not be located.

8:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza.

8:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of transient people trespassing at a laundromat in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza.

9:37 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1100 block of Memphis Belle Court who had fraudulent charges on a credit card.

10:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a coat stolen from a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

10:43 a.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a fire in the 27400 block of West Wind Place. It was a chimney fire, and the fire was contained to the chimney.

10:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 300 block of Cherry Drive who wanted to report a Craigslist scam.

12:13 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with abdominal pain in the 40800 block of Purple Sage Street.

12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a found ID at a business in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza.

1:57 p.m. A person came to the police department to report a brand-new stand-up paddleboard in a box was taken out of the back of a truck. It was valued at $1,400.

4:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 900 block of Pine Grove Road. A drunken woman reportedly was acting belligerent and pushed a housekeeper. The 56-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of harassment and disorderly conduct.

5:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 2900 block of Ridge Road who had fraudulent charges on a credit card.

7:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at a gas station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be located.

7:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at a hotel in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, fugitive of justice, minor in possession of marijuana, felony first-degree introducing contraband, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of a controlled substance.

7:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 3300 block of Après Ski Way. A man came home and thought an intruder was inside. He locked himself in the basement with a gun and waited for police. There was no intruder. Police said the man was hallucinating, and he claimed he had just smoked marijuana. He was cited for prohibited use of a weapon and false reporting.

7:59 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.

8:56 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 3100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

9:22 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who overdosed in the 200 block of Wild Hogg Drive.

10:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was driving a car 50 mph through a trailer park in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The driver could not be located.

10:59 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help a person who was having an allergic reaction in the 200 block of South Sharp Avenue.

11:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car at Soda Creek Elementary School. The car was unattended and running. It belonged to a janitor.
