Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:41 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a man who said he was assaulted by two males in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. The man did not want to pursue charges.

1:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen vehicle at a bar in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. It was located and appeared like someone took it for a ride.

3:03 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken person at the Gondola Transit Center. The person was given a ride home.

6:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of person who had unauthorized charges on a credit card. Steamboat police and the Routt County Sheriff's Office handled about 30 similar reports.

10:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a property management company that needed help unloading a gun left in a room in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane.

10:52 a.m. Officers were called to check on a person who did not show up to a mental health appointment.

11:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who found a container with what appeared to be methamphetamine at the post office.

1:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who left a restaurant without paying for $14 in food in the 1100 block of Yampa Street.

3:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be located.

5:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an injured elk at Lincoln Avenue and Dream Island Plaza. Wildlife officials are aware of the elk and think it is recovering from the injury.

5:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a credit card skimmer at a gas station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. It was not a skimmer.
