1:54 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken pedestrian in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man apparently was intoxicated and passed out on the porch of a woman’s cabin. Police talked to the man and gave him a courtesy ride to his home on Morgan Court.

2:11 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders talked to a drunken pedestrian at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue. The pedestrian reportedly vomited when officers attempted to take him to detox, so he was instead taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center. At about 4:30 a.m., officers drove the man to his home on Merritt Street.



8:55 a.m. Twentymile Mine ambulance workers were called to a request for an ambulance transport.

10:04 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 56-year-old Steamboat Springs man on a warrant for theft.



12:19 p.m. Police were called to a complaint about an animal in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue where a duck reportedly was walking across the road. The duck was gone when animal control officers arrived.

1:48 p.m. Police were called to a report of a shoplifter in Central Park Plaza where an employee reportedly stole lip balm valued at $5. Officers issued a summons.

2:17 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in Oak Creek.

4:16 p.m. Police were called to a report of fraud in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue, where a person reported that someone had ordered $5,000 worth of champagne with a fraudulent credit card.

4:28 p.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue were called to a request for an ambulance in Steamboat where a man in his late 20s reportedly overdosed on prescription medications. Medical crews took the man to YVMC.

6:57 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a car in Milner. No more information was available.

7:43 p.m. Deputies helped a person in the 400 block of Clifton in Yampa. No more information was available.

11:31 p.m. Police helped a driver at Mount Werner and Pine Grove roads. The driver needed directions to YVMC, and officers escorted the driver to the hospital.
