1:56 a.m. A noise complaint was received from the 700 block of Grand Street, where people were being loud in the street. Everything was quiet when police arrived.

7:09 a.m. A Craig man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on U.S. Highway 40 in Hayden.

7:36 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive. Everything was fine.

7:54 a.m. Police provided traffic control while a vehicle was towed from Seventh Street.

8:18 a.m. A vehicle complaint was received from the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue, where construction vehicles were blocking traffic. The vehicles were moved.

8:30 a.m. Theft was reported in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle, where a laptop was missing from a suitcase. Police are investigating.

9:01 a.m. A possible gas leak was reported in the 100 block of 10th Street. Everything was fine.

9:03 a.m. Theft of cash was reported in Steamboat Springs. The money was taken from a purse left on a city bus, police said. Two Steamboat men were caught on videotape taking the cash, and they were arrested for theft later that night when a driver recognized them boarding another city bus.

9:14 a.m. A dog at large was reported in the 1300 block of 13th Street.

9:23 a.m. A Milner woman and a woman from unincorporated Routt County were arrested on an outstanding warrant as part of an ongoing theft investigation by the Steamboat Springs Police Department and the Routt County Sheriff’s Office.

9:35 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 900 block of Steamboat Boulevard. Everything was fine.

10:40 a.m. A woman locked herself out of a running vehicle with her child still inside of it. Police helped the woman unlock the car. Her child was fine.

10:43 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in a parking lot in the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.

11:04 a.m. Theft was reported in the 700 block of Yampa Street, where money was missing from a cash register at a restaurant. A suspect was identified, but the business chose not to file charges.

12:08 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Mount Werner Road and Mount Werner Circle. Police issued a citation.

12:53 a.m. Theft of a small amount of cash was reported from a residence in the 1200 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Police are investigating.

1:06 p.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries. Police took a report.

1:23 p.m. A pair of skis was reported stolen from the Gondola Transit Center. Police took a report.

1:51 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported at a construction site in the 2200 block of Apres Ski Way, where a backpack was left overnight at the top of a crane by an unauthorized person. Police are investigating.

3:33 p.m. Trespassing was reported on Routt County Road 18. Sheriff’s Office deputies took a report.

6:43 p.m. A Milner man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Moffat County in the 3400 block of Stone Lane.

10:45 p.m. A dog at large was reported on Highland Circle. Police were unable to locate the animal.
