12:42 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers talked to a reportedly intoxicated person in the first block of Seventh Street. No action was taken.

12:46 a.m. Police were called to a noise complaint in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. Officers issued a verbal warning.

2:26 a.m. Police were called to the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza, where a person filling a car with gas accidentally broke off the key in the car's ignition. Officers helped push the car away from the gas pumps and a mechanic was called.

8:42 a.m. Police were called to a request for an officer at the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. security office in regards to a ski pass issue.

10:20 a.m. Colorado State Patrol troopers were called to a report of a car crash on Routt County Road 27.

10:26 a.m. Police were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Lincoln Avenue and Fifth Street.

2:56 p.m. Routt County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to a request for a welfare check in the 31000 block of C.R. 14B.

3:04 p.m. Police, Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and Steamboat Mental Health professionals were called to a possible attempted suicide in Steamboat Springs. No more information was available.

4:21 p.m. Police were called to a report of a noninjury car crash in the 2300 block of Storm Meadows Drive.

4:45 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue and police were called to a report of a gas leak in Dream Island Plaza, where snow fell from a roof and hit a gas line. Everything was fine.

5:38 p.m. Police talked to a man who was worried about his adult son and said he might have substance abuse problems. Officers found the son at a local hotel and the two men talked. Everything was fine.

5:52 p.m. Police were called to a report of a possible assault, reported from Yampa Valley Medical Center. Medical responders reportedly treated a 23-year-old man with cuts to his forearm and wrist. Police talked to the man and his family and learned that the man was wrestling with his brother on the kitchen floor when he accidentally was cut by a kitchen knife. Police took no action.

6:11 p.m. Police were called to a report of a parachute falling to the ground in Steamboat. Officers drove through the area where it was reported but could not find anything and did not find anybody else who saw the parachute. Officers called the person who initially reported the incident, but he did not answer his phone.

10:43 p.m. Police were called to a report of a car crash at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue where an SUV reportedly crashed through a fence and hit a tree. Officers initially issued a ticket for driving without a valid license and careless driving. On Monday, the people involved told police they falsely reported who was driving. The original recipient of the ticket was instead given a ticket for false reporting, and a man was charged with careless driving. There were no injuries.

11:40 p.m. Police were called to a report of a disturbance in Dream Island Plaza, where the family involved in the crash at Fifth Street and Lincoln Avenue reportedly was arguing. Officers mediated the situation, gave one person a ticket for minor in possession of alcohol and took that person to another house in town.

11:53 p.m. Police were called to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat. Officers arrested a person.
