12:32 a.m. A minivan slid off the road near River Road and Tree Haus Drive. No injuries were reported.

1:52 a.m. A 20-year-old Steamboat Springs man was taken to the hospital from the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue because he “was beaten up.”

2:15 a.m. Officers checked on some drunk people waiting for a taxi in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Circle. The people were fine.

5:20 a.m. A man was concerned his girlfriend was suicidal. Officers checked on the woman, and she was fine.

8:03 a.m. A 40-year-old intoxicated man was taken to the hospital from the 600 block of Anglers Drive.

9:08 a.m. A 10-year-old girl was taken to the hospital from the 1800 block of Ski Time Square because she fell on ice.

10:29 a.m. A 27-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested in the 3700 block of Lincoln Avenue on two failure to appear warrants.

10:29 a.m. A case of identity theft was reported in the 100 block of Eighth Street.

11:22 a.m. Someone was taken to the hospital from the 800 block of Howelsen Parkway after falling while skiing.

11:32 a.m. A 30-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue on suspicion of violating her probation.

11:37 a.m. A dog bit an animal control officer in the 100 block of Valderdant Circle. The dog’s owner was given a citation.

2:31 p.m. An officer removed some medium-sized rocks that had slid onto U.S. Highway 40 west of Steamboat.

5:06 p.m. A skier and snowshoer became lost after wandering into the Fish Creek Falls drainage area. Routt County Search and Rescue spokeswoman Dawn Alperti said the couple talked to a ski patroller by cell phone, and he talked them out of the area. Search and Rescue crews met the couple at the parking lot and checked on their condition. The couple was fine.

5:13 p.m. A vicious dog reportedly was bothering people near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The dog was gone when officers arrived.
