12:07 a.m. Five or six young people reportedly were swinging ski poles and trying to hit cars with them near AprÃs Ski Way and Village Drive.

2:09 a.m. A drunken 32-year-old Steamboat Springs man reportedly jumped out of a moving car near Mount Werner Road and Lincoln Avenue.

8:54 a.m. Someone reportedly broke and stole several strands of Christmas lights from a park in the 300 bock of Main Street in Yampa. A report was taken.

10:08 a.m. A 26-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested at the jail for failing to appear.

11:09 a.m. An angry parent reportedly was yelling at a resident adviser in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive because the resident adviser would not the let the woman’s daughter into the dorm. Officers mediated the situation.

12:52 p.m. A woman in her 40s was taken to the hospital because she was having a seizure.

2:40 p.m. Someone in the 1900 block of Steamboat Boulevard reportedly was stealing cable television. The incident is under investigation.

4:57 p.m. A possible sexual assault involving two juveniles was reported. The incident is under investigation.

5:25 p.m. A man in the 700 block of Sandhill Court reported various items worth $500 missing from his home. The man told police his son had been watching the home at the time of the alleged burglary and that the son had a “few friends over and that it turned into a party he couldn’t control.” The incident is under investigation.

7:49 p.m. A 26-year-old Steamboat Springs woman was arrested near Sixth and Oak streets on suspicion of driving with expired tags, driving without insurance, possessing less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia.

10:18 p.m. A drunken 19-year-old man was taken to detox from a party he was at on the Steamboat Ski Area.

10:20 p.m. A man reportedly fell asleep on a bus and wouldn’t wake up. Police contacted the man and woke him up. The man was not under the influence of anything, police said.

10:42 p.m. A 19-year-old woman in the 2200 block of Storm Meadows Drive reportedly was throwing up because she was intoxicated. The woman has pre-existing medical conditions, police said. Police did not know if the woman was taken to the hospital.

11:47 p.m. A man in the 1900 block of Mount Werner Road reported his friend threatening suicide. Police could not find the man’s friend.
