Friday, April 7

6:55 a.m. A woman reported a car with a broken window in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. A vandalism report was taken.

7:02 a.m. Officers helped a man suffering from substance abuse and mental heath issues in the 1400 block of Robert E. Lee Lane. The man was taken to mental health professionals.

9:16 a.m. A car reportedly slid off Colorado Highway 131 near the Phippsburg Bridge. No one was injured in the accident.

11:14 a.m. A man reported someone stealing his ski pass somewhere in Steamboat.

12:19 p.m. Someone found a gun and turned it in to the police department.

1:16 p.m. A dog owner was given two citations for letting dogs run loose on Cherry Drive.

3:49 p.m. Someone reportedly ran a school bus stop sign in the 300 block of Oak Street. Officers could not locate the vehicle.

4:04 p.m. A man near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue reported an intoxicated person stumbling around. Officers were unable to locate the person.

5:01 p.m. A man in the 2000 block of Downhill Drive reported an intoxicated person stumbling around. Officers were unable to locate the person.

5:38 p.m. Someone reported losing a ski pass on Mount Werner.

5:38 p.m. A man near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue reported being harassed by another driver who was yelling, screaming and throwing things at him from his car. Officers said they found the driver several hours later and gave him a verbal warning.

8:41 p.m. Officers told two Denver men who were trying to sell newspaper subscriptions in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane to go back to Denver. Officers said one man had a non-extraditable warrant for his arrest and the other had a suspended driver’s license.

10:37 p.m. A woman near Strawberry Park Elementary School told several juveniles who were riding snowboards on school property to go home. The juveniles then began throwing snowballs at the woman. Officers contacted the snowboarders and gave them a warning.

11:38 p.m. A woman reported her home on Meadow Lane being vandalized with toilet paper.

11:48 p.m. A woman in the 3500 block of River Place thought underage people were drinking at a party. Officers could not legally contact the party because the residents were not being loud or out of control.
