Friday, Oct. 31

1:50 a.m. A 26-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested after a motor vehicle accident at Mount Werner Road and Tree Haus Drive, on suspicion of careless driving, driving under the influence and DUI per se.

1:55 a.m. A 35-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and speeding, during a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue and Anglers Drive.

2:29 a.m. A drunken driver was reported in the 2300 block of Abbey Court. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

9:33 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported on Wyatt Drive. There were no injuries. Police took a report.

9:43 a.m. Police assisted a motorist at Old Fish Creek Falls Road and Lincoln Avenue.

10:09 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 2600 block of South Copper Frontage. Police took a report.

10:38 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries. Police took a report.

10:40 a.m. A trash container fire was reported in the 2700 block of Downhill Drive. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue extinguished the flames, which were confined to the container. No one was injured.

11:18 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 900 block of Strings Road. Everything was fine.

12:56 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2800 block of Village Drive. Everything was fine.

1:01 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Court. Everything was fine.

2:31 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza, where a juvenile in a vehicle was holding a gun of some kind. The reporting party said it may have been a toy gun. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

3:12 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.

3:37 p.m. A vehicle fire was reported in the 61100 block of Routt County Road 129, near Steamboat Lake State Park, where a piece of logging equipment caught fire. The flames already had been put out when crews from the North Routt Fire Protection District arrived. No one was injured.

3:54 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Lincoln Avenue and Seventh Street. There was no damage to either car.

4:24 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court. Everything was fine.

4:58 p.m. A burglary was reported on Sequoia Court, where a woman arrived home to find her door broken in and some of her belongings outside the residence.

5:26 p.m. A gas skip was reported in the 200 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden.

6:01 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Everything was fine.

6:12 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. Everything was fine.

6:25 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 900 block of Steamboat Boulevard. Everything was fine.

6:58 p.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.

7:52 p.m. Vandalism was reported in the 300 block of Lilac Court in Hayden. Police took a report.

8:52 p.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 600 block of Meadowbrook Circle. Everything was fine.

10:56 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 700 block of Yampa Street.

11:28 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Oak Creek, where a 17-year-old male was hit by a car on Colorado Highway 131. He was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center by an ambulance crew the Oak Creek Fire Protection District, and was later airlifted to Denver Health Medical Center, where he was in critical condition Saturday.

11:31 p.m. A noise complaint was received from the 1100 block of West Jefferson Avenue in Hayden.
