12:26 a.m. A woman in the first block of Logan Street reported smelling smoke and thought electrical equipment was burning. Firefighters told the woman to leave the house. They found that the woman was having a problem with her water heater.

12:33 a.m. A woman reported finding a suspicious T-shirt with the words “Drama Queen” in the back of her car. The woman told police that she was concerned a former stalker put the shirt there. A report was taken.

9:26 a.m. A towing company in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue reported two 19-year-old men stealing cash and gas cards. The two men were arrested Monday on suspicion of stealing $600 worth of quarters and were arrested again Thursday on suspicion of criminal mischief.

1:35 p.m. A 48-year-old man reportedly felt dizzy from heat and collapsed in the 1600 block of Mid Valley Drive. The man told police he had epilepsy and that he has collapsed before. The man declined a ride to the hospital.

2:13 p.m. A store manager in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza reported two people trying to steal from the store. The man told police the couple tried to convince a store cashier that a gift card worth $1.25 was worth $125. The couple charged a $35 purchase to the card and tried to charge more merchandise to it Thursday. The store manager said the couple ran away when confronted.

3:49 p.m. A driver ignored a school bus stop sign in the 300 block of Oak Street. Officers were unable to locate the driver.

7:15 p.m. An elderly woman reportedly fell and hit her head in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The woman declined to be taken to the hospital.

10:04 p.m. A woman in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue reported an intoxicated person yelling and making obscene gestures at her. The person was gone when officers arrived.
