Steamboat briefs: Yampa to consider Town Hall repairs at meeting

— The Yampa Town Board is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. today at Yampa Town Hall, with Public Works agenda items dominating the meeting.

The board is set to hear about repairs to Town Hall after Public Works Superintendent Eric Berry hit the building with a dump truck as he deposited a load of coal. Town Clerk Janet Ray said the repairs are not yet finished, but the damage is minor and is expected to cost $1,000 to $1,500.

The town also will hear about repairs to town vehicles and consider approving the appointment of Berry to the Colorado Water Association and Conference.
