Chamber announces new local gift card program
The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association launched a new gift card program Oct. 10 that will replace the Chamber Bucks program.
Gift cards will allow for a closed system in which 100 percent of all gift card sales will be spent at Chamber member businesses. The cards, issued by Sunrise Banks, N.A. St. Paul, Minnesota, are prepaid, private-label cards that will be processed as a credit or debit transaction.
To be able to accept the cards, a business will need to be a Chamber member in good standing and will need to schedule a time for Chamber staff to swipe the business's point of sale system and provide training.
To schedule training, contact Heidi Breidert at 970-875-7008 or firstname.lastname@example.org, and to receive more information about becoming a chamber member, contact Anna Bridger at 970-875-7004 or email@example.com.
To purchase bulk gift cards for the holiday season, contact Breidert or firstname.lastname@example.org to be invoiced for the total amount.
Chamber Bucks will no longer be sold but those already purchased will be honored.
