Steamboat Briefs: Hayden Town Council to discuss appointments

The Hayden Town Council is scheduled to discuss board and commission appointments, Rolling Hill subdivision and Kum & Go’s liquor license at its meeting tonight.

The council is scheduled to hold a 7 p.m. work session and a 7:30 p.m. regular meeting at Hayden Town Hall, 178 W. Jefferson Ave.

The council also is scheduled to discuss Hayden Speedway at a work session after the regular meeting.



Steamboat School Board plans 2-day workshop

The Steamboat Springs School Board will hold a two-day workshop starting tonight.

Both days’ workshops will address results from the district’s community engagement efforts and a budget presentation from Superintendent Shalee Cunningham followed by a board discussion.



The workshop will run from 5 to 9 p.m. today in the upstairs boardroom of the George P. Sauer Human Services Center on Seventh Street. It will continue at 9 a.m. Friday and run until 3 p.m.
