Steamboat Briefs: Girls to Women seeks volunteers for conference

Organizers of the 13th annual Girls to Women event are welcoming volunteers. The daylong conference serves all eighth-grade girls at Routt County schools and beyond. Local art museum to host reception for teachers

The Steamboat Art Museum hosts "Teachers Night at the Museum" from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26. The catered reception honors Routt County teachers and offers an introduction to the museum's current exhibit, "Wildlife Paintings by Ken Carlson."
